Big Sis DJs and Byrd Out are joining forces once more to present an intermediate training led by Polo Lilli and Neon Pumps.
Join us for a vinyl and digital mixing skills workshop for intermediate digital DJs and those interested in learning the foundations of vinyl beat matching.
Small group learning with hands-on 1:1 coaching, exploring:
* Advanced skills for digital transitions
* Use of Pioneer FX unit to elevate blends
* A crash course on mixing with vinyl
We will also ask participants to share in advance any specific learning requests and consider these in planning the session.
The class will be 2h30 in length and takes place at The Swamp, Deya Brewery on 14th July, from 7:00pm - 9:30pm.
VERY limited places and small group learning to ensure hands-on time and 121 coaching for everyone.
ABOUT POLO LILLI
POLO LILLI is an influential Bristol-based electronic music DJ, producer, and educator known for his fast-paced, high-energy fusion of footwork, jungle, breakbeat hardcore, and twisted pop bootlegs. He first broke onto the UK dance scene in 2019. Since then, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the underground rave revival, praised for his technical open-format mixing and euphoric live sets.
His breakout remix edit of DJ Zinc's 138 Trek was officially signed by Zinc himself and recognized by Mixmag as one of the best tracks of 2023. He has also contributed a performance to Boiler Room's acclaimed Hard Dance series. He has dropped tracks on respected dance labels including Hooversound Recordings, Hardcore Energy, Trax Haven, and Das Booty.
Known for his high-tempo sets, he has played major international tours—including multiple headline dates in India—and commanded stages at leading UK festivals like Boomtown, Outlook, and Bangface.

Neon Pumps is a rising producer, live artist, and DJ known for high-energy, genre-defying sets and live shows that fuse brain-tickling polyrhythms with driving club beats, playful pop references, and acid electro synths.
Drawing on three decades of dance music — from acid house and hardcore to electro, IDM, and jungle — her sound blurs the line between the organic and industrial, underpinned by a bold pop sensibility.
Founder of DJ collective Big Sis DJs, and a resident with Soho House, Sonar Sessions & Red Rebel FM, Neon Pumps is fast becoming a vital force in the underground scene, supporting DJs such as Jaguar, Seb Fontaine, Marshall Jefferson, lau.ra, 2 Bad Mice, DMX Krew, Amelia Leigh Sully, Deekline, Polo Lilli, Dani Whylie & Tom Ravenscroft.
She has been booked to perform at Boardmasters, ALSO Festival, Bristol's Club Love, Full Spectrum Bristol 5th Birthday and Jaguar's Utopia Worldwide takeover at Soho House. She has trained over 40 women and non-binary folks in DJing across Gloucestershire in the last 2 years.
